St Peter's is the older village core west of Broadstairs proper, with a walled churchyard, cottage rows on Church Street and Hopeville Avenue, and a mix of period stock through to modern infill. Parts of the old village sit inside conservation-area boundaries administered by Broadstairs and St Peter's Town Council: any exterior change visible from a public highway there needs a consent conversation before we start.

The maintenance register in St Peter's is period-cottage-shaped. Painted timber sash windows on much of the pre-1900 stock, cast-iron guttering and downpipes on the older properties (needs specialist repair rather than modern PVC-U replacement), and small timber repair on skirting, architrave and door frames.
